Marston’s partners with Hawkstone to launch limited-edition IPA & Beef Pie
6th August 2026
Marston’s has partnered with Jeremy Clarkson’s British beer brand, Hawkstone, to launch a new Hawkstone IPA & Beef Pie in almost 500 local pubs across the UK.
Available for a limited time from 3rd August, the new dish brings together two British favourites: slow-cooked beef and award-winning Hawkstone IPA. The partnership also sees Hawkstone IPA available by the bottle in participating Marston’s pubs, giving guests the opportunity to pair the new menu item with the beer that helps create its rich gravy.
The Hawkstone IPA & Beef Pie is made with British diced beef and pulled beef cheek, slow-cooked in a rich Hawkstone IPA gravy with seasonal vegetables and Barber’s Cheddar. Encased in buttery shortcrust pastry, it is served with seasonal vegetables, extra gravy and a choice of chips or mash, depending on the pub.
The launch marks Hawkstone’s largest pub partnership to date and reflects Marston’s ongoing focus on bringing distinctive, high-quality food and drink experiences to local communities across the UK.
Founded in 2021, Hawkstone uses produce from British farms and is committed to championing the farming community. Its IPA was named England’s Best IPA at the World Beer Awards 2025, balancing tropical and citrus notes with malt richness and a clean hop bitterness.
Kiran Bains, Director of Brand Activation at Marston’s PLC, said:
“We’re so excited to working with Hawkstone to bring our new take on a pub classic to almost 500 of our pubs across the UK. British beef and Hawkstone IPA are a match made in heaven, and we’ve created a really delicious dish to serve to guests up and down the country, introducing Hawkstone to more customers and giving them a new reason to visit their local. We can’t wait for everyone to try it!”
Andy Cross, Sales Director at Hawkstone, said:
“Farming isn’t just ‘how’ Hawkstone is made, it’s ‘why’ it’s made. The more Hawkstone you drink, the more barley we buy from British farmers. That’s why we’re thrilled Marston’s is serving Hawkstone IPA, not just by the bottle but also in a Great British pub classic, in almost 500 pubs nationwide. So, visit your local Marston’s pub, tuck into a pie and help us celebrate the farming community before stocks run out.”
