Munich comes to Marston’s with UK’s largest Oktoberfest celebrations

12th September 2025

This Autumn, Marston’s is bringing steins and shared good times to hundreds of its great local pubs across the UK, with a jam-packed programme of events inspired by Munich’s most famous festival.

From 12th September to 5th October, over 400 participating Marston’s pubs - each dressed in traditional Oktoberfest blue and white bunting – will give local guests the true Bavarian experience, from iconic two-pint steins and beer hall bites, to live music and other special events.

The three-week celebrations include a partnership with Löwenbräu, the official beer of Oktoberfest, as well as a drinks lineup including Jägermeister and Licor 43, with miniature stein-served shots adding to the festival atmosphere.

For the full Oktoberfest experience, guests are invited to join selected Marston’s pubs for Wunderbar Saturdays (taking place on 13th and 27th September) where they can fully immerse themselves in the spirit of the festival with live music, fancy dress, quizzes and stein-holding competitions.

A limited-edition Oktoberfest menu will also be available in selected pubs, including traditional German favourites such as giant pretzels, Frankfurters, currywurst, Black Forest Gateau and Marston’s signature Oktoberfeast platter.

Claire Robertson, Director of Operations at Marston’s, said:

“We know how hard it is to take holiday plans from group chat to reality so this autumn, we’re saving people the trouble and bringing one of the world’s most iconic festivals to their local pub.

“We’re so excited to be hosting the UK’s biggest Oktoberfest celebrations at over 400 Marston’s pubs and giving our customers the chance to enjoy authentic German food, Löwenbräu beer brewed in Munich, and fantastic entertainment - all without the hassle of planning and travelling.”
