Marston’s publishes 2025 Impact Report

Great pubs don’t just bring people together – they can make a real difference. That belief drives everything we do, from reducing our environmental footprint to supporting our people and communities.
Our 2025 Impact Report highlights the progress we’ve made over the past year. From installing more solar panels on our pub roofs and expanding our rapid EV charging network, to cutting food waste and strengthening our inclusion networks, we’re driving meaningful changes that have a lasting positive impact.
Here are some of the standout achievements from FY2025:
Planet:
- 560 EV chargers now live across 200+ pubs
- Solar panels installed at 65 pubs
- Glass reuse scheme rolled out in 150 pubs
Product:
- Over 18,000 plant-based meals served each week
- Zero waste to landfill achieved by our primary meat supplier
- 74% progress towards halving food waste by 2030
People:
- New Values & Behaviours launched
- 90 team members currently on apprenticeships
- Named the UK pub industry’s No.1 employer (Financial Times Best Employers 2025)
Policy:
- FTSE4Good score maintained at 4.1
- 120 suppliers now using the SEDEX sustainability platformr
- 95% of pubs achieving a 5* EHO rating
Our Pub Support Centre teams and Sustainability Taskforce continue to lead the way, ensuring these commitments are embedded across our pubs while making a positive impact where it matters most – for our people, our guests and the planet.
