New partnership helps bring EV charging to more Marston's pubs and inns

Marston's has announced a new long-term partnership with EV charging provider Believ, helping to bring electric vehicle charging to even more pubs and hotels across its estate.
The partnership will support the continued growth of Marston's industry-leading EV charging network, making it easier for guests, local communities and businesses to charge their vehicles while visiting pubs and staying overnight at selected sites.
The first Believ charge points are expected to be installed from late 2026. The new partnership builds on Marston's ongoing relationship with Osprey Charging Network, which has helped Marston’s create the largest rapid and ultra-fast EV charging network in the UK pub sector.
Since introducing EV charging in 2018, Marston's EV-enabled pubs have helped power more than 150 million miles of electric journeys, avoiding over 33,600 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. All charging points across the estate are powered using renewable energy, supporting the company's ambition to reach Net Zero by 2040.
Chris White, Energy Manager at Marston's said:
"Since 2018, we've built one of the largest rapid and ultra-fast EV charging network in UK hospitality, and we have no intention of slowing down.
"Bringing Believ on board as our second EV charging partner gives us the platform to extend that network to new sites across our estate, for the benefit of our guests and the communities we serve. Their fully funded, end-to-end model removes the barriers to doing this at scale, and we're excited to give even more customers the ability to charge while they visit our pubs."
The partnership is the latest step in Marston's commitment to making sustainable travel more accessible while continuing to invest in facilities that enhance guest experiences.
