Allergen Awareness Week: Putting Guest Safety First

23rd April 2026

During Allergen Awareness Week, we’re taking time to reflect on why allergen awareness matters - and the role every one of us at Marston’s plays in helping guests feel safe, reassured and confident when choosing to dine with us.

For many people living with allergies, eating out isn’t a simple decision. It can take significant thought, preparation and trust to choose somewhere they feel comfortable and safe. That’s why allergen safety at Marston’s starts long before a dish is served at one of our pubs.

In the video below, hear directly from our teams about how this approach is brought to life every day. From our Food Technical and Menu Development teams, who play a pivotal role in ensuring allergens are carefully considered at the beginning of the menu design process, through to our Pub Support Centre, where our teams collaborate regularly to keep pace with regulatory requirements while continually learning, reviewing and improving how we manage allergens across our business.

We recognise there’s always more to learn, and that allergen awareness requires constant focus and attention. Which is why keeping allergens front and centre remains a responsibility we take seriously across our pubs, menus and teams.
