Support is driven through:

Decisions on how support is allocated are made by the Foundation’s Trustees and are guided by clear principles and oversight, ensuring funding is directed responsibly and where it can have the greatest positive impact.

Help Fund Life‑Saving Allergy Treatment for Brodie
The Marston’s Foundation supported a young girl living with a life‑threatening nut allergy, helping her access specialist medical treatment that could transform her day‑to‑day life.
Bringing warmth, connection and joy to Wolverhampton’s fostering community
As part of our commitment to being passionately local, the Marston’s Foundation supported a special festive event for children in care and their foster families in Wolverhampton — helping to create moments of connection, celebration and joy at a time of year that can be especially challenging.

Help Fund Life‑Saving Allergy Treatment for Brodie
One of our Pub Partners, Dawn at The Old Wirral Hundred, contacted the Foundation to request support for her granddaughter, Brodie, whose family was fundraising for oral immunotherapy. Determined to help Brodie live a more normal life, the family brought their community together with a fundraising event at the pub, raising £2,500.
Brodie also played her part, setting up her own small business, Beads by Brodie, selling handmade beaded bracelets to help raise funds.
Moved by Brodie’s story and the efforts of her family and local community, the Marston’s Foundation donated the remaining £4,500 needed, making this the largest individual donation made that year.
This story reflects the spirit of Marston’s — people supporting one another and making a meaningful difference where it matters most.
Bringing warmth, connection and joy to Wolverhampton’s fostering community
Working closely with Fostering for Wolverhampton, the Foundation donated £1,500 to cover catering for the community’s annual Christmas celebration. With rising budget pressures meaning the event increasingly relies on local support, this contribution helped ensure families could focus on spending time together while we took care of the food.
The evening brought foster families together to create memories that truly mattered. For many of the children attending, the celebration was more than a festive gathering — it was a chance to feel valued, included and wrapped in the warmth of community.

“The children said it was the best one ever — they didn’t want to go home. Everyone was so happy. We’re incredibly grateful for the support that helped make this such a special event for our foster families.”
