Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions and by the decision of the Promoter, which is final in all matters relating to the Promotion. Please retain a copy for your information.

Promotion open to residents of England and Wales, aged 18 years and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Excludes residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

The Promotional Period shall be between 11:00am on 6th December 2025 and 5:30pm on 24th January 2026. Please specifically note the Entry Periods set out in section 5.

To enter, entrants must firstly purchase a pint of Guinness or Guinness 0% at a participating Marston’s pub during one of the Entry Periods shown at section 5. Upon purchase, entrants will be provided with a QR code. Entrants must complete the online registration form via the QR code during an Entry Period and submit their prediction for the final score of the Premier League match taking place at 5.30pm on the same Entry Period date (the “Match”).

7. As part of the entry mechanic, you must provide the following personal information via the online registration form: your name, email address, pub location and the premier league team you support. One entry per person, Entry Period.

Upon the final whistle of the Match, if you have predicted the correct final score, you will be awarded a one-time voucher code (“Voucher”) which shall entitle you to one free pint of Guinness or Guinness 0.0%, subject to availability, at participating Marston’s venues, in accordance with the specific terms set out in clause 9, below. The Voucher will be sent to the email address used to make your entry. The Voucher will be sent on the Monday following the Match.

Please show the Voucher to your server when ordering. UK residents only, aged 18+. Valid ID may be required. The Voucher entitles the guest to a free pint of Guinness or Guinness 0.0%, subject to availability. The Voucher is only valid between the dates shown on the Voucher during normal opening hours.

If you have any food intolerances or allergies, please ask a member of staff before ordering. The Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or discount, including a privilege card. The Voucher cannot be exchanged for any other product and has no cash alternative. We reserve the right to change, amend or remove this promotion without prior notice due to circumstances outside of our control. Normal operating conditions and opening times apply. The Manager’s decision is final. Bar staff can refuse service at their discretion. This promotion and these voucher terms are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales. It is not the intention of this promotion in any way to encourage people to consume excessive amounts of alcohol or to discriminate based on gender or orientation. Any information collected from entrants into the Promotion will be processed by the Promoter for the purposes of managing entry into the Promotion. Once all prizes have been administered, all personal data will be deleted unless specific consent has been given for Marston’s to send further communications. Consents can be withdrawn or amended at any time by emailing office@magnifymarketing.co.uk. If an entrant withdraws consent to the storage and processing of their data for the purposes of administering the Promotion, they will also be withdrawn from the Promotion itself. All data will be processed by Marston’s in accordance with its privacy policy, which is available here.

11. In addition to receiving a Voucher, all winning entrants (i.e. those entrants who correctly predicted the final score of the applicable Match during the Promotional Period) will be automatically entered into two prize draws as follows:

(a) Weekly Prize Draw: each week, on or around 12:00pm on the Monday following the date of the Match when you entered the competition, one entrant from all winning entries for that corresponding Entry Period will be selected at random to win one of the following items: a Guinness Hoody, Guinness Football Jersey, Guinness Football T-shirt or Guinness Sweatshirt. The winner will be notified by email, using the email addressed provided on the registration form, by no later than the Friday following the applicable Match with details on how to claim the prize. The winner will receive their prize on the date specified or within 28 days of notification of being successful. Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash equivalent is available. Whilst the Promoter will make every effort to honour the advertised prize(s), the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute any prize with an alternative of a similar value if circumstances dictate this.

(b) Promotional Period Prize Draw: after the end of the Promotional Period one entrant from all winning entries during the Promotional Period will be selected at random to will win a pair of Premier League tickets of their choice to a match in the 2025/2026 football season. The winner will be notified by email, using the email addressed provided on the registration form, with details on how to claim the prize. The Promotional Period Prize Draw winner shall have a period of seven (7) days in order to reply to the Promoter (or the Promoters fulfilment agency, where applicable) to claim the prize. Should the winner fail to reply within this seven (7) day period, it shall be deemed that they have forfeited the prize and the Promoter shall select an alternative winner using the same process as was used to select the original winner.

12. The winner of the Promotional Period Prize Draw is not permitted, by virtue of Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1998 to sell or otherwise dispose of the tickets to any other third party whatsoever, unless agreed by the event organiser in writing.

13. The winner will receive Premier League match tickets only and does not include any other facilities or expenses whatsoever, such as (by way of example and all of which are the responsibility of the winner and/or their guest) the following: travel to or from the venues and associated charges; accommodation; travel insurance; tips, gratuities, room service, drinks or meals; and any other costs associated with the trip.

14. Ticket collection details will be provided by the fulfilment agency on behalf of the Promoter, once the match date has been confirmed. If tickets are collected on the day, tickets may only be collected by the winner and photographic ID (passport / driving license / national ID card) may be required at the point of collection.

15. Clubs will be notified of the identity of winner and their guest (including name and address) for prize administration, and databases will be checked against any Club Banning Orders, as well as the National Police Database for those who may be subject to a Court Banning Order. Any person found subject to a club or court banning order is not eligible to enter this competition or claim the prize. If a winner’s guest is subject to a club banning order or court banning order, then they are not eligible to accompany the winner for the prize, and the winner will need to identify a different guest. The Premier League will not otherwise use winners’ personal details for reasons other than the above, unless lawfully permitted to do so.

16. The tickets are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of its choosing which has a value the same or greater than the original prize, in the event of circumstances outside its control making the prize unavailable. The prize may be subject to availability and change where expressly stated.

17. Name changes are not permitted, unless expressly agreed in writing (at the sole discretion of the Premier League) on a case by case basis.

18. Winners will be bound by any additional terms and rules of conduct set out by the relevant football club, venue host or event organiser (Premier League) (including, amongst other things any terms of issue associated with tickets, applicable ground regulations and other policies applicable to visitors at the venue or event). The Promoter, event organiser or stadium operators reserve the right to refuse entry and/or require winner and their guest to leave the venue should the winner or guest not comply with these terms, rules or policies, any applicable law or regulation or other reasonable directions or the Promoter, event organiser or stadium operators, or because of winners or guest(s) inappropriate behaviour. Winners are responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest at all times.

19. No guarantees can be given that any match will take place at a particular time or on a particular date. The event organiser reserves the right to reschedule any match without notice and without any liability whatsoever.

20. Entrants acknowledge and agree that the ability to receive the prize may be prevented, limited or interfered with by unforeseen events outside of the reasonable control of the Promoter, Premier League, Club and/or venue, which may result in (amongst other things) matches being postponed, cancelled, played behind closed doors, reduced capacity crowds, or entry requirements imposed by a competent authority. Neither the Promoter, Premier League, club or venue shall be liable or responsible if any unforeseen events prevent, limit or interfere with the winner making use of the prize or attending the match and in the event winners cannot make use of the prize, the Promoter will determine in its sole discretion whether it will grant an alternative prize.

21. Winners are solely responsible to have all necessary information and documents in order to comply with any requirements relating to entry to the stadium or venue. The winner and their guest must also comply with any other policies, guidance and instructions which may be provided to them by the Premier League, football club and/or venue as applicable and may be updated from time to time, in relation to attendance at the match or event.

22. The winner and their guest will be expected to comply with any third- party terms and conditions that form part of the prize, including but not limited to conditions of the Premier League and the relevant football club along with the stadium ground regulations and apply at all Premier League Club stadiums.

23. If a winner and their guest have any special accessibility requirements, the winner will need to make the fulfilment agency aware of this at the same time as the winner accepts the prize. In some instances, notice of accessible seating may only be available at short notice. If wheelchair spaces are available, these will be offered on a first-come first -served basis.

24. By submitting your personal information when entering the Promotion, you acknowledge the Promoter may disclose that information to the event organiser (Premier League), venue host and/or the relevant football club(s) playing in the match to which the prize relate for the purpose of verifying your eligibility for any prize and or administering delivery of the prize.

25. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, any personal data relating to entrants will be kept securely and used solely for the purposes of administering this Promotion and/or prize fulfilment by the Promoter.

26. Entrance to this competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and all terms and conditions of the Premier League. Winners must abide by those terms at all times. The Promotor or the Premier League accepts no responsibility if the winner and/or the winner’s guest are denied entry or asked to leave the match for failure to abide by such terms, any applicable law or regulation or because of their inappropriate behaviour.

27. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever in relation to the Weekly Prize Draw or Promotional Period Prize draw; including but not limited to fulfilment, event cancellation, or any loss or injury arising from attendance at the event or use of the prize.

28. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries or prize claims that are lost, delayed or damaged for any reason whatsoever.

29. Incomplete entries/claims or those not in accordance with the entry/claim instructions will not be accepted.

30. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or date alternative is available. However, the Promoter reserves the right to award similar alternative prizes of equal or greater value in the event of circumstances outside of its control

31. The Promoter will not be responsible for technical, hardware or software failures, lost, faulty or unavailable network connections or difficulties of any kind that may limit or prohibit entrants’ ability to participate in the promotion. The Promoter does not guarantee that the Website will be operational on any specific device or system or that it will be error free or available all the time.

32. You agree that, to the extent permissible by law that the Promoter, the Promoter’s its affiliates and agents assume no liability for injuries, losses or damages or any kind to property or persons, including without limitation death, resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly, from the management of or mechanics behind the promotion, entry into the Promotion, the acceptance of the prizes, and any acts or omissions of the winner and any guests.

33. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage, but will always endeavour to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

34. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries/claims that it reasonably believes to be fraudulent or based on misconduct.

35. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this Promotion’s entry requirements. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation this clause.

36. Each entrant will indemnify (and will keep indemnified) the Promoter, its affiliates against all costs, claims, losses, damages, expenses (including legal expenses) or other liability arising as a result of a breach of these Terms and Conditions, negligence or any other action which imposes an unreasonable burden on the Website including (but not limited to) the use of software robots.

37. This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
